Essential Job Functions:
• Perform various administrative assistant duties such as preparation of correspondence,
scheduling meetings and managing related records. Coordinate and process related
paperwork to maintain efficient workflow.
• Maintain knowledge of legislative and regulatory requirements in area of corporate
governance as they relate to area of responsibility.
• Schedule, coordinate and communicate with governing bodies board meetings in
accordance with Bank by-laws and established procedures, as needed.

with the Director of Audit.
• Manage special projects and/or programs, which include conducting research, problem
solving and making recommendations for improvement.
• Prepare and maintain files and records related to division. Ensure all documentation for
division is organized according to established procedures. Maintain procedures manual as
applicable to assigned duties.
• Prepare and monitor Department operating budget. Prepare and process department
invoices.
• Prepare quarterly Executive Committee Abstracts and Investing Board Report. Prepare
confidential reports and various correspondence proficiently by utilizing current
technology.
• Represent Division as needed by participating in various meetings. Serve as Business
Continuity Committee member representing Administration.

Commercial Loan Assistant.
Function:
Under the direction of the Vice President – Commercial Loan Operations Manager, performs a
variety of administrative tasks in connection with the commercial lending function.
We are looking for a candidate with:
• 1-3 years’ experience in a Commercial Lending environment
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent through specialized coursework and training
• Must be detail oriented with strong organizational and verbal communication skills
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel
• Working knowledge of LoanVantage preferred
• Ability to perform a variety of tasks simultaneously while adhering to guidelines
Essential Job Functions:
• Assembles and verifies accuracy of loan documentation and check documents for
proper vesting, legal descriptions, closing dates and signatures.
• Maintains new and paid commercial loan files and ensure that loan files contain
documents with proper signatures, dates and other relevant data. Reports
discrepancies to Vice President – Commercial Loan Operations Manager.
• Monitors UCC and/or other security documents on a regular basis. Prepares renewal or
termination documents as necessary. Assists with requesting financial statements from
commercial borrowers on an annual basis. Compiles financial data for review by Credit
Analyst. Follows up on requested information/documentation to ensure receipt.
Prepares BOI presentation forms for approval of new commercial non-real estate loans.
Prepares disposition correspondence including commitment letters or adverse action
and/or denied documentation, and in-house closings of newly approved commercial
non-real estate loans. Prepares all necessary loan documents for loan closings, either
in-house or by attorney.
• Ensures that loans are processed in accordance with all the terms and conditions of the
credit approval and all applicable regulatory guidelines.
• Updates the SBA remittance fee due report on all SBA loans on a monthly basis.
Prepares the necessary closing documents for commercial loans.
• Assists Vice President – Commercial Loan Operations Manager in handling all
documentation related to Commercial real estate. Monitors application pipeline, and
follows up on appraisals, 21E reports, and financials. Reviews and packages loans for
approval by Management.
• Assists Vice President – Commercial Loan Operations Manager by responding to
inquiries from customers, attorneys and other Bank personnel as needed to resolve
problems. Acts as liaison with attorneys prior to and during closings to ensure accurate
and consistent documentation.
• Documents all loan underwriting and processing activities related to Commercial loans
on a daily basis.
• Ensures proper due diligence and CIP/ CDD Beneficial Ownership requirements are met
prior to closing the loan, working with the Commercial Lending Officers as needed.
• Prepares and follows construction advances and closed loans. Coordinates a draw
request for Construction Loans between customers and outside construction
consultants and payouts.
• Responsible for maintaining all documentation for Participation Loans serviced by ECSB
or others.
• Leads a variety of customer service activities as it pertains to commercial customers,
including responding to requests, researching discrepancies and resolving issues.
Contacts attorneys, appraisers, insurance companies and other applicable parties for
miscellaneous information and documentation.
Supportive Functions:
• Performs all related lending tasks and special projects as may be required or
assigned.

JOB TITLE: Economic Development Specialist

REPORTS TO: Director of Programs

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

· Provide intensive case management, consistent advocacy, referrals and follow up through specialized services for survivors with complex economic-related challenges and needs in accordance with HarborCOV’s survivor-centered, trauma-informed goals, objectives and core values

· Work with survivors to develop individual goal plans to achieve short-term and intermediate outcomes that support them toward longer-term stabilization

· Support direct service staff through training and up-to-date information sharing around developing strategies to address economic obstacles and access resources

· Support hotline coverage as needed

· Coordinate and provide access to and program activities and resources at onsite computer labs, including regular classes and workshops

· Serve as key point person for direct service staff on HarborCOV’s specialized economic development projects and activities

· Develop and facilitate regular in-house workshops and trainings for emergency, transitional, permanent housing, and community-based residents

· Record accurate daily data on services and client progress in organizational data management system

· Collect, maintain and share up-to-date information to facilitate clients’ access to and use of local and area resources for education and employment, legal, housing, health and other community services.

· Actively participate in weekly supervision, all-staff and direct service meetings and regularly required trainings to promote continuity in high-quality services, meaningful leadership and a supportive agency-wide culture that fosters accountability and ongoing skill-building

· Adhere to strict organizational personnel, confidentiality and conflict of interest policies

· Work with the staff, Board of Directors, volunteers and interns to promote understanding and advancement of the HarborCOV mission, philosophy and programmatic goals.

QUALIFICATIONS

An ideal candidate will:

· Bachelor’s Degree or Associates with three years relevant experience in the DV field preferred.

· Bilingual in Spanish and English strongly preferred.

· Case Management or direct service experience of at least 2 years in the DV or related field.

· Demonstrated understanding of culturally competent, strength-based strategies within an anti-racism, and economic and social justice framework

· Above-average knowledge of Greater Boston and statewide economic-, education- and housing-related resources and the associated tools necessary to support client success (budgeting, credit repair, resume writing, housing law and career paths)

· Must be familiar with the impact of mental health, homelessness, and substance use in domestic violence issues.

· Must have experience working with and advocating for low-income families.

· Demonstrated group facilitation skills.

· Strong crisis management, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills.

· Proficient written and oral communication skills.

· Some computer literacies with a working knowledge of Data Base input and utilization, word processing, e-mail, and Internet.

· A valid driver’s license and access to a vehicle preferred.

 

HOURS: 35 hours per week. For positions that work five days per week, this includes three in the office and two working remotely. For positions that work four days per week, this includes three in the office and one working remotely. Some flexibility with hours required to match client needs.

SALARY AND BENEFITS:

· Full-time position $50,000- $55,000 annually depending on experience

Position Summary

 The Employment Specialist will assist job seekers from diverse backgrounds and levels of experience to conduct successful job searches and obtain employment or enroll in job training programs.  Specifically, the Employment Specialist will provide 1:1 employment counseling, job matching, onboarding assistance, and post placement follow up and retention services.  This is an exciting time to join a growing team at CONNECT dedicated to both rapid reemployment and building long-term sustainable jobs while working in coalition with other partners.  Previous experience with career coaching is not required; our awesome, experienced workforce development manager can train you.

VITA helps families with low- and moderate-income file their taxes and claim tax credits. These tax credits, such as the Earned Income Tax Credit (EITC) and the Child Tax Credit, are considered one of the most effective ways to help families move out of poverty. As one of the largest VITA sites in the Boston area, The Neighborhood Developers provides free tax preparation to hundreds of clients each tax season, resulting in millions of dollars in refunds for our clients.

The VITA Program Assistant plays a vital role for TND’s VITA program. You will work with the VITA program manager/site coordinator to facilitate operations and coordinate client services during the busy tax season. We are looking for someone who is committed to providing high quality services to the community, learns quickly, can work in a fast-paced environment, can work independently, and is comfortable with various software applications and databases.

 

VITA Programs:

 Work with the VITA program manager/Site Coordinator to facilitate operations and coordinate client services during the busy tax season.

 Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Supporting VITA volunteers
  • Performing client tax intake and interview
  • Scheduling client appointments and follow ups for intake, interview, drop-off of documents, and signature and pick up.
  • Assembling documents and passing on to tax preparers and reviewers
  • Ensuring highest level of customer service is provided
  • Troubleshooting site and technical issues
  • support the Site Coordinator with other tasks as needed
  • Take IRS intake/interview and basic exam at the minimum.
  • Be available to be in person 100% during tax season and work Saturdays during tax season (mid-January – mid-May)

 

Desirable Qualifications:

  • Bilingual in English and Spanish
  • Detail-oriented, well-organized, and able to work independently.

Job Summary

Assist Director of Sales Sales Managers and Catering Manager in obtaining customer satisfaction by performing clerical and administrative duties relating to guest and hotel communications through the sales team as well as light selling duties to small groups and functions. The incumbent may also perform light selling duties to small groups and functions as directed by the Director of Sales.
