The City of Chelsea is continuing to make steady progress with its Downtown Broadway Utility Project (DBUP). Below is the work scheduled over the next few weeks and the related traffic impacts.

The following dates and closures are subject to change as needed and as work progresses. For the most up-to date road closures happening city-wide, visit chelseama.gov/traffic.

• Early July: Utility work will be completed on City Hall Ave. 

• July & August: Drain and water main installation on Washington Ave between Fay Square and Bellingham Square. 

• Early July: Fiber optic conduit will be installed on the west side of Broadway in front of City Hall.
